Itinerary Timeline

Day 1: Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi

Welcome to Hanoi. The capital of Vietnam is also the second largest city, with a historical background and picturesque landscapes. Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will meet our representative who will take you to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Day 2: An In-Depth Tour of Hanoi City

After breakfast, you will be heading for the in-depth tour of Hanoi City.
Highlights of the day:
Tran Quoc Pagoda & West Lake

Famously known as one of the largest lakes of Hanoi and the oldest Buddhist temple, Tran Quoc Pagoda & West Lake is a top sightseeing destination for those fascinated by history, local legend and the Buddhist faith. A pathway circles the lake and is a popular walking or cycling track for the Hanoi community.

Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum – Ba Dinh Square – One Pillar Pagoda

The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is one of the most important monuments in Vietnam. This imposing shrine was built on the edge of Ba Dinh Square, where Ho Chi Minh delivered the Declaration of Independence
of the Republic of Vietnam to half a million countrymen in 1945, following the surrender of the Japanese. The One Pillar Pagoda, about 50 metres away, gets its name from the shrine sitting atop a single massive pedestal.

Temple of Literature

You won't be able to help being awestruck by the serenity of Van Mieu (Temple of Literature) from the moment you pass through its towering gates. One of Asia's loveliest spots, it is hidden from the walls and ancient frangipani trees, home to some of Vietnam's most magnificent religious structures. Its pools filled with blooming lotus bear names such as the “Well of Heavenly Clarity.”

Ngoc Son Temple & Hoan Kiem Lake

Little Hoan Kiem Lake remains the very heart of life in Hanoi, changing continuously with the hour and season. Ngoc Son Pagoda sits on an isle at the north end of the lake, its oldest structures dating back to 1225, alongside two ornate Confucianist sanctuaries and a huge stuffed turtle displayed in a glass case. Some of your most vivid memories of Hanoi might come from a walk around the lake at sunrise, midday, or after dark.

Hanoi Old Quarter by Electric Car

Some of the 36 streets that make up the Ancient Quarter still offer only a single commodity — one of the best is Hang Quat, where shops sell an incredible array of lacquered wood candlesticks, bowls, picture frames, religious shrines and decorative pieces. You will be given free time at the night market in Hanoi Old Quarter (7 pm to 10 pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays) for shopping.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Day 3: Hanoi – Cruise on Ha Long Bay – Overnight on Cruise

After breakfast, you will head for a cruise on Ha Long Bay — around four hours' drive to reach the bay. Embark on the cruise and sail amongst the limestone mountains, enjoy a seafood lunch on board, relax on deck and take in the view. Afterwards, visit a fishing village to meet fishermen, learn about their way of life and the joy of fishing, and learn to cook delicious Vietnamese dishes. Overnight on the cruise.

Day 4: Day 4: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi

Wake up early and have breakfast, then disembark for an easy exploration of a nearby cave. Return to the cruise, check out, and enjoy a nice brunch while sailing back to land. On the way back to the hotel, visit Ba Vang Pagoda, located on the 340m-tall Thanh Dang Mountain in Uong Bi City, Quang Ninh Province, which includes a large forecourt, a sanctum, a Holy Mother's temple, a Mountain Spirit temple and an old longstanding well.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Day 5: Hanoi – Departure

Today, after breakfast, you will say your farewell to Hanoi as you proceed to the airport and take your flight back home.
