Itinerary Timeline

Day 1: Day 1: Arrival in Varanasi & Evening Ganga Aarti

Your pilgrimage begins upon arrival at Varanasi Airport or Railway Station, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. After check-in and brief relaxation, head to the iconic Dashashwadh Ghat by late afternoon. Board a traditional wooden boat to cruise along the riverfront, taking in views of the historic ghats lit up at dusk. The day concludes with witnessing the majestic Ganga Aarti ceremony from the boat, complete with chanting, brass lamps, and rhythmic music echoing across the riverbanks. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 2: Day 2: Varanasi Holy Temples & Sarnath Excursion

Start early with a peaceful sunrise boat ride across the Ganges to view the morning rituals along the ghats. After breakfast, embark on a temple tour including the sacred Kashi Vishwanath Temple via the modern corridor, Annapurna Temple, and Kaal Bhairav Temple. In the afternoon, take a short drive to Sarnath, the historic site where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. Here, you will visit the Dhamek Stupa, Ashoka Pillar, and the local museum before returning to Varanasi for the night.

Day 3: Day 3: Varanasi to Prayagraj & Triveni Sangam

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive toward Prayagraj (approx. 120 km / 3 hours). Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and proceed to the holy Triveni Sangam—the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers. Take a boat ride to the center of the confluence for a holy dip (Sangam Snan) and offer prayers. Later, visit the unique reclining Bade Hanuman Mandir, Alopi Devi Shakti Peeth, and the historic Anand Bhavan. Overnight stay in Prayagraj.

Day 4: Day 4: Prayagraj to Ayodhya & Evening Sarayu Aarti

Check out after breakfast and drive north to the divine city of Ayodhya (approx. 170 km / 4 hours). Upon arrival and hotel check-in, visit Hanuman Garhi, an ancient temple complex sitting on a hill overviewing the town. In the late afternoon, proceed to the banks of the Sarayu River. Stroll along the river ghats, take part in evening prayers, and witness the serene Sarayu River Aarti as the sun sets over the holy water. Overnight stay in Ayodhya.

Day 5: Day 5: Ayodhya Temple Darshan & Drive back to Varanasi

Dedicate the morning to core darshan in Ayodhya. Visit the newly constructed Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple to offer prayers at the birthplace of Lord Rama. Continue to Kanak Bhawan, known for its golden-adorned idols of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita, and Nageshwarnath Temple. After lunch, check out from your hotel and take the scenic return drive back to Varanasi (approx. 200 km / 4.5 hours). Check into your Varanasi hotel for a relaxing final night.

Day 6: Day 6: Final Blessings & Departure from Varanasi

On your final morning, visit any remaining holy sites in Varanasi, such as the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, Durga Temple (Durga Kund), and the Tulsi Manas Mandir. Enjoy a brief visit to the serene Banaras Hindu University (BHU) campus and the New Vishwanath Temple before finishing any last-minute shopping for Banarasi silk sarees and local handicrafts. You will then be transferred to Varanasi Airport or Railway Station for your journey home.
