Itinerary
After arriving at Ngurah Rai International Airport (Denpasar), the group will be welcomed and transferred to the hotel in the Kuta, Legian or Seminyak area. After check-in and some rest, travelers can spend the afternoon relaxing around the hotel or exploring the nearby streets and beach. In the evening, the group can visit Seminyak Beach to experience Bali's famous sunset atmosphere, followed by dinner at a local Indonesian restaurant. This first day is intentionally relaxed because flights from Kathmandu usually involve a connection and the journey can take much of the day.
After breakfast, the group will travel toward Ubud, the cultural heart of Bali. The day will include a visit to the famous Tegallalang Rice Terraces, where travelers can see Bali's traditional agricultural landscape and take photographs among the lush green terraces. The group will then continue to Tirta Empul Temple, a sacred Hindu temple famous for its holy spring-water pools, followed by time in central Ubud to explore traditional shops, cafés and the local market. If time permits, the group can also visit the Sacred Monkey Forest. This day provides a much more authentic cultural experience than simply visiting Bali's beaches.
After breakfast, the group will travel toward the northern and western parts of Bali, with a visit to Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, a beautiful temple located beside Lake Beratan. The journey itself is scenic, passing through Bali's green countryside. After lunch, the group will continue toward Tanah Lot Temple, one of Bali's most recognizable temples, dramatically positioned on a rock formation along the coast. Travelers will have time to explore the area and watch the sunset before returning to the hotel. This is one of the most photographic days of the tour.
After breakfast, the group will explore southern Bali, beginning with Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park, where travelers can see the enormous Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue and learn about Indonesian Hindu culture. The tour then continues to one of Bali's beautiful beaches for some relaxing time and lunch. In the late afternoon, the group will visit Uluwatu Temple, dramatically located on a cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean. The day will finish with the famous Kecak Fire Dance around sunset, followed by dinner before returning to the hotel. Uluwatu is currently listed at around IDR 50,000–60,000 for international adult admission depending on the current tariff source, while the Kecak performance is an additional cost.
After breakfast, travelers will check out of the hotel and have free time for last-minute shopping and sightseeing depending on the flight schedule. The group can visit Seminyak, Kuta or a local souvenir market to purchase Balinese handicrafts, clothing, coffee and souvenirs. After lunch, the group will be transferred to Ngurah Rai International Airport for the return journey to Kathmandu. This relaxed final day also provides some flexibility if the return flight is in the evening.
