After breakfast, the group will spend the day exploring Hanoi's major cultural and historical attractions. The tour can begin with the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex, followed by the One Pillar Pagoda and Temple of Literature, Vietnam's historic center of learning. After lunch, travelers can visit the Hanoi Old Quarter, enjoy Vietnamese coffee and explore local shops. The afternoon can also include a stop at Train Street, subject to local access and safety restrictions. In the evening, the group will have free time to explore the Old Quarter, try local dishes such as pho and banh mi, or shop for souvenirs.

After an early breakfast, the group will travel from Hanoi to Ninh Binh, approximately two hours away depending on traffic. Ninh Binh is sometimes called "Ha Long Bay on land" because of its dramatic limestone mountains rising above rivers and rice fields. The main experience will be a peaceful Trang An boat trip, where local rowers take visitors through waterways, limestone cliffs and caves. After lunch, the group can visit Mua Cave viewpoint for spectacular views over the surrounding landscape, depending on the group's fitness and weather. Ninh Binh is particularly worthwhile for travelers who want nature and photography rather than only city sightseeing. The group will then return toward Hanoi or stay overnight in Ninh Binh depending on the final package arrangement.

After an early breakfast, the group will travel toward Ha Long Bay, one of Vietnam's most famous natural attractions and a UNESCO World Heritage destination. Travelers will board a day or overnight cruise and enjoy lunch while sailing between the spectacular limestone islands and karst formations. Depending on the cruise selected, activities can include cave exploration, kayaking or bamboo-boat rides, swimming and sunset viewing. An overnight cruise gives a much better experience than rushing through the bay in a single afternoon, although it increases the package cost. Ha Long Bay's landscape is one of the highlights of northern Vietnam, with hundreds of limestone islands and islets rising from the sea.

Travelers will enjoy breakfast on the cruise while taking in the views of Ha Long Bay. Depending on the cruise itinerary, there may be a final cave, kayaking or sightseeing activity before returning to the harbor. The group will then travel back toward Hanoi and continue to Noi Bai International Airport for the return flight to Nepal. If the international flight is late in the evening, some free time can be arranged in Hanoi for lunch and last-minute shopping. The tour ends with the airport transfer and return journey to Nepal.
