Itinerary

Departure begins early morning from Sauraha or Bharatpur, taking a five-hour drive along the Prithvi Highway parallel to the Trishuli and Madi rivers. Upon reaching Pokhara in the early afternoon, you will check into a three-star Lakeside hotel. The rest of the afternoon features a sunset boat ride across Phewa Lake, followed by free time to explore the Lakeside markets.

After breakfast, a three-hour drive leads past Naya Pul up to Kimche. From Kimche, you will undertake a light one-to-two-hour hike up stone stairways to reach Ghandruk village. The afternoon includes visits to the local Gurung Cultural Museum, trying on traditional Gurung attire for photographs, and taking in clear views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre. The night is spent at a local mountain teahouse.

You wil wake up to see the clear sunrise views over the Himalayas directly from their teahouse. Following a local village breakfast and a short walk through upper Ghandruk, you will trek back down to their vehicle and drive three hours back to Pokhara for an overnight hotel stay.

The final morning covers brief city sightseeing in Pokhara specifically Davis Falls and Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave before the five-hour return drive back to Chitwan.
