Itinerary

Depart from Chitwan in a private 4x4 Mahindra Scorpio jeep along the Prithvi Highway (4–5 hours). Check into your hotel by Lakeside, Pokhara, and spend the evening relaxing by Phewa Lake.

Drive from Pokhara through Lekhnath and the Madi River Valley up to Sikles, one of Nepal's largest traditional Gurung settlements. You will spend the afternoon exploring the stone-paved alleys, local eco-museum, and Gurung culture.

Begin trekking along forested trails, crossing suspension bridges over the Madi River. Descend towards the riverbed before climbing gently to Hugu Goth, a shelter area used by local herders.

Hike early to Kapuche Lake to view its turquoise glacial waters. Return to Hugu Goth for lunch, then climb uphill through rhododendron and bamboo forests up to Nohtha.

Ascend above the treeline to reach the vast alpine meadows of Kori Danda. Enjoy panoramic views of Mount Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, Annapurna IV, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail).

Wake up early for sunrise over the Annapurna range. After breakfast, retrace your steps downhill through the mountain ridges back to Hugu Goth.

Trek downhill back to Sikles. Enjoy a traditional dinner and an optional Gurung cultural music and dance performance organized by the village community.

After breakfast in Sikles, board your private jeep for the drive back down to Pokhara and continue along the highway to Chitwan, arriving by evening.
