Arrive at Luang Prabang International Airport (LPQ), where our local representative will welcome you and provide a private transfer to your hotel. In the late afternoon, walk up the steps of Mount Phousi for panoramic sunset views over the Mekong River. Spend your evening exploring the vibrant Luang Prabang Night Market for handmade Lao crafts and street food.
Experience the silent Tak Bat (Alms Giving Ceremony), where saffron-robed monks walk through town to collect morning offerings. Then, you will tour the 16th-century gilded Wat Xieng Thong temple and the Royal Palace Museum. After that, you board a private wooden boat cruise along the Mekong River to the Pak Ou Caves, where thousands of sacred Buddha statues rest inside limestone cliffs.
Travel through rural villages to the famous Kuang Si Waterfalls. Swim in turquoise limestone pools, walk nature trails, and visit the nearby Tat Kuang Si Bear Rescue Centre dedicated to protecting Asiatic black bears. Return to town for a relaxing evening at a riverfront cafe.
