After breakfast, you will travel towards Kandy—the cultural capital of Sri Lanka. En route, stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to observe rescued elephants bathing in the river. Check into your Kandy hotel and visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, followed by a traditional Sri Lankan cultural dance performance in the evening.

Drive through winding hill roads to Nuwara Eliya. Stop at a working tea factory and plantation to learn about Ceylon tea processing while enjoying fresh samples. Then, visit Ramboda Waterfalls and spend the afternoon strolling around Gregory Lake and viewing the colonial-style architecture of Nuwara Eliya town.

Board the world-famous scenic train from Nanu Oya (Nuwara Eliya) to Ella, passing through lush green tea estates and mountain bridges. Stop to view the iconic Nine Arches Bridge before continuing your drive down to Tissamaharama/Yala.

Take an early morning 4x4 open-jeep safari through Yala National Park—home to leopards, elephants, sloth bears, and exotic birds. Afterward, you will travel along the southern coastline past Galle Fort to the golden beach resort area of Bentota.

Enjoy a morning boat safari through the mangrove forests of the Madu River, stopping at small islands to see cinnamon cultivation. Visit a local Sea Turtle Conservation Center and spend the afternoon enjoying water sports (jet skiing, banana boat rides) or relaxing on Bentota Beach.

After breakfast, you will drive to Colombo for a city tour featuring Independence Square, Gangaramaya Temple, and local shopping at Pettah Market or One Galle Face Mall. Afterward, enjoy a private transfer back to Colombo Airport for your return flight to Kathmandu.
